I am excited to participate in the Seattle Cookie Counter's Ice Cream social!
This Friday October 20th, 2017
6-9pm
You can see the full event here:

But here's a more in depth look at what I'll be doing!
My favorite type of instant images is double exposures and this time of year is the perfect time to express some of the creepy quality these images present. We all have different sides of ourselves. Let me capture yours!
For this event I want to tie in with our theme: Face your Fear
If you dress up for this event (OH PLEASE DO!)
I can take your halloween portrait, orrrrrrr....
Get one of these....
Neat huh?
I'll have a twin peaks inspired red curtain, props, and hopefully yourself!
Portraits will be $5 each and 15% of all sales will be going to Old Dog Haven.
This goes for Atta's tarot readings as well!
He will help you face your fear and discover the source and tools to use against them.
Can I share a personal example when we did a reading?
When I bake and make meals at home I love sharing food with friends and family. A fear of mine is to accidentally poison someone or cause them pain because of it.
My Source of Fear: Knight of Swords
My fear is sourced from my own history and experience with constant G.I. pain.
My experience of Fear: Justice
My experience of fear is one of false accusations. I fear poisoning others when I am more likely to poison myself.
How I can call my Fear's Bluff: Seven of Pentacles
There is sorrow as I acknowledge my present reality. I am more aware of the potential to poison others than I am myself. The way to call my fear's bluff is by taking stock of my current health. While it may not be where it once was, it is though self care that I will diminish my fear.
Mantra: I will call my fears bluff by looking after my own health.
.....Kinda neat, right?
This is my example of a fear, but what is yours?
I love digging into self and using tarot cards as tools for self awareness and empathy. They have made a true difference in my life and mental health the last few years. By understanding ourselves we can understand events and others around us.
My favorite part of this event is the takeaways!
You can take home limited edition treats made by Chelsea at the cookie Counter, an instant picture of yourself, a typed out mantra (from a type writer!) of how to face your fear. There's even going to be boardgames to play with old friends or new!
Hope to see ya there!
